Issue 18 is ordered.
I had the usual rollercoaster (more on those later) of feeling like I didn’t have enough content to suddenly reshuffling things to fit it all in.
Available at the city semi final (as long as the printers don’t delay) and online at the usual place, will post again when live.
For your reading enjoyment in this issue we have
Mark Whitby shares his interview with Manchester Corinthian Gill Holland
Charlie Connor talks performance and the season’s run in
Debutant Gavin Dimmock traces his journey from men’s division 4 football to the WSL
Boh Blythin offers her 3rd player profile, this time on Maya Le Tissier
Mike Lisle finally gets his piece done about being a Dad and lad, stereotypical in the men’s game, at women’s football
George Hitchens provides a write up of his sister’s u13 cup forays, we first heard from Midsomer Norton girls in last season’s FA Cup special
Photography is provided by Clare Overfield of Shoots like a girl photography, friend of the fanzine and photographer for series 2 of our collectable cards, available soon
But what about the rollercoasters I hear you ask?
I was lucky enough to be invited by a family member to take a place walking up The Big One, you know, that big rollercoaster in Blackpool. The event is tonight!!!
The event is for charity, though I’m not obliged to fundraise, but I think it would be rude to take the place and not at least put it out there.
The charity is ‘Papyrus - prevention of young suicide’ and you can read more about the challenge and the charity here. Please, only give if you can.
